Dr. Murphy has mentored many entrepreneurs and leaders and remains an active mentor. Some of his current mentor-mentee relationships have lasted continuously for two decades. Mentees include successful entrepreneurs and leaders across the US and in other countries as well as nascent startup entrepreneurs. High-impact mentoring involves networking and Dr. Murphy has a network of entrepreneurs and leaders worldwide.

A comprehensive and intense half-day or full-day session for individual leaders, entrepreneurs, and small teams in any organizational context, industry, and/or culture. The engagement transforms problems into opportunities, opening the way to ideas and solutions with entrepreneurial potential. Depending on focus, the engagement yields a plan for achieving traction, executing turnarounds or pivots, and mitigating challenges. This engagement includes an unstructured framing conversation to set parameters and focus. Dr. Murphy draws from over 20 years of experiences with many entrepreneurs around the world, advanced knowledge from the research literature, his own published work, and existing evaluation instruments. Fee: $15,000 - $25,000.

An approximate one-hour session or series of sessions that address and resolve a specific hard problem, question, or other limiting factors an entrepreneur or leader is facing. This engagement instills outside perspectives that draw from lessons of experience and advanced frameworks from research of actual entrepreneurial cases. Experienced entrepreneurs often struggle to recognize and navigate uncertain environments and situations. This engagement shift one's conceptual grounding to produce breakouts from current limits and includes a screening conversation and questionnaire. Fee: $1,000 - $5,000

Students and alumni of Dr. Murphy's seminars undertake outreach projects with entrepreneurial ventures. This engagement entails 4-5 member teams from one of Dr. Murphy's or his team's programmatic initiatives. These projects are perfect for individual entrepreneurs or teams facing obstacles to performance. Dr. Murphy has overseen hundreds of these engagements over the past two decades and this outreach work has garnered national acclaim and awards. These engagements are strictly pro bono and focused first and foremost on student and alumni learning. Priority is given to entrepreneurs in the Greater Birmingham Alabama region but remote engagements are possible.
